Tea Sets

The following 10-piece sets are just as lovely as grandmother's fine English china!

This picnic hamper set is painted in a lovely blue design, reminiscent of delft-ware. Includes: two cups (1.5"H) with saucers (1 1/4", sugar bowl w/lid (1.5"H), creamer (1.25"H), and tea pot with lid (2.5"H). Made of bone china. All tucked inside an old-fashioned round picnic hamper with a handle on top. Even includes a red-checkered tablecloth! Cost: $15. Note: Please inquire, as this style is discontinued and now hard to find.

These sets, also handpainted, are reminiscent of lovely blue delft-ware design. Includes a serving tray (4 1/4"L x 2 3/4"H), two cups (1/2"H) with saucers (1 1/4"), sugar bowl w/lid (1.5"H), creamer (1.25"H), and tea pot with lid (2.5"H). Made of genuine fine bone china. Choose either a flowered design blue windmill pattern. Cost: $9.99 each.

...This beautiful set is truly elegant, and perfect for 18" dolls. The blue violet flower pattern is trimmed in gold, and the platter has a pretty scalloped edge. 10 piece set: 1 serving tray (4 1/4" diam.), 2 cups (3/4"H), 2 saucers (1 3/8"D), sugar bowl and lid (1.5"H), creamer (1 1/4"H), 1 teapot and lid (2 3/4"H). This mini design is gorgeously intricate. Made of porcelain, it is truly reminiscent of famed Royal Albert's "Old Country Roses" pattern (so that's what how we'll refer to it). Serving plate is 4 5/8"w x 1/3"H and the teapot w/lid is 1 2/4"w x 2 3/4"H. Other pieces proportionately sized. Perfect for 18" dolls or larger. Cost: $13.

For a delightful Asian-style tea, choose this lovely Imari set of 6 pieces, including a teapot (with removable lid), 4 bowls, and a matching tray, all in terracotta-colored ceramic. Cost: $8.

Resin Teapots - These darling teapots are made of resin, about 2"H and are shaped to look like various flowers. Come in different designs and colors w/lids (our choice). $3 each.

These lovely porcelain tureens come in a flowered pattern, trimmed in gold. They come with a separate presentation tray. Handpainted, they measure approx. 3.5"w (with tray, 5"w) x 3"d x 2.5"h. Note: Only 1 green remaining. Cost: $8.

Of course, your lovely tea sets and porcelain pieces will need to be displayed with pretty tea towels! Two styles available in either white or ecru. Fringed towels feature charming heart and stripe design. Made of cotton. Even have their own hangers! Measure approx. 4"L (from hanger to edge of fringe on towel). Cost: $3 each.

Gorgeous handpainted ceramic plates from Italy (originally ornaments) are truly little pieces of art; can be used by themselves as table-top decor or as little serving trays. Measure approx. 3" in D. Come in red on white. Note: only 1 remaining, in red flowered design. Also available featuring haute femmes with French sayings: "la vie en rose," "tres chic," "chercher la femme," "creme de la creme," "oo-la-la," and "c'est la vie" - perfect for Valentine's Day! Cost: $3.50 each.

Genuine Fiesta Ware Pottery dishes are actually magnets, but the dishes sit perfectly flat, so you don't even notice! These pieces are retired, hard to find, brand new and mint. Each piece is stamped Fiesta on the front and Genuine Fiesta Accessories on the back. Licensed and distributed by General Housewares Corporation. Authorized License of The Homer Laughlin China Co. Measure approx. 2" in diameter. Generally come in red, turquoise, seamist blue, but please inquire on availability. Currently have 2 green, 2 turquoise, 1 seamist, 1 yellow. Very limited! Cost: $5 each.

These cute little oven mitts are a must for baking and cooking! Actually mini repros of Amish quilts (from Pennsylvania Dutch county), the squares measure approx. 2" and have slits in the back to slip your doll's hand in and feature a hanging hook. Chain can be easily removed for better handling. We will choose for you based on designs available. Cost: $3.99 each.

Barbecue Grill
This authentic-looking miniature Weber grill is truly "King of the Grill," and could not be more exact in detail. It measures approx. 8"H with the lid on and 6" in diameter. The lid has a working vent and a hook on the inside that can be used to hang the lid on the grill's wooden handle. There is a removable metal grill grate inside for "easy cleaning", just like the real thing. The wheels say "Weber" on them and really roll! See coordinating chef vest and hat for the perfect look. Difficult to keep in stock or replenish - get yours while available! Cost: $30.

Food Products

Rement Products - Originally known as "Puchi Petites" in Japan, these are scaled miniature sets of everyday items. They developed as an art form in Asia (not associated with dolls), and are now phenomenally popular collectibles in Japan, especially with mothers and daughters. There are even clubs in Japan where Rement collectors get together to trade, much like we trade sports cards here, or Yu-Gi-Oh or Pokemon. Each piece is hand-painted, so every feature is shown to perfection. You?ll marvel at the incredible craftsmanship, which captures items with detail rarely seen ? right down to individual slices of green pepper for your pizza and ice cubes that come out of the tray! Best of all, you get all this for a fraction of the cost of most collectibles or dollhouse sets!
The sets are packaged as "blind boxes" meaning you don't know which set is in the box, meant to be a surprise when opened. The goal is to trade them in order to get the full collection eventually. However, we carefully open the package, mark them and carefully reseal the boxes, so we always know what stock is available for you. Most of the food is in 1:6 scale, however there are some pieces (furniture and appliances) that are smaller - something to be aware of - though they still look awesome in displays! The following pieces are from the "Jolee's Boutique" series, finely-made three-dimensional decals and accessories used for scrapbooking - but that work perfectly for dolls! This wonderful selection of mini cakes will fool everyone! So authentic, don't be surprised if your friends reach for one to try! Truffles on a Pedestal These mini truffle desserts make an elegant presentation for your doll's tea or festive gathering! Made of resin measuring 3" x 3", the detail is mouth-watering! Cost: $5 each.

Also available are food magnets/ornaments (some easily removable) made by Acme, with great detailing. You would never guess they were magnets - the quality is that nice! This wonderful stand-up mixer doubles as a clock. Comes in white and is heavy duty. So does this black espresso maker. Detailing is excellent! Cost: $19.99.

These tasty-looking cherries in a basket crate are available scaled for BJDs or Cissy. So real looking, they seem just picked! Cost: $5 each.

These detailed baking goodies: muffin tins, pie, baking utensils conjure up scenes of fragrant kitchens, as your doll's favorite muffins bake! Choose from large empty tin (2.5"L), half-filled tin (2"h), pie, or sheet of gingerbread men (1.5"h). Cost: $3.99. Resin baking utensils have authentic detailing; choose from spatula and rolling pin. Cost: $2 each.

Also available are fine mini stainless steel colanders, in small, medium, or large (actually nest inside each other). Meant to be cute decorative accents in YOUR kitchen but the large is great for 21" (Cissy) dolls, the medium size for 18" or larger dolls, and the small perfect or 16"! Giftbasket

Here is a cute utensil for the kitchen...a strainer in perfect scale, and authentic in detail. It can actually be used on a full scale for straining tea bags, etc.! Measures approx. 2"L. Cost: $5.

A cannister set is a must in every well-stocked kitchen. This 3-pc. set is made of wood and has lift-off lids. Each cannister is of a different color. Measures approx. 1/5"H. Cost: $6.

Or purchase just an individual cannister, in black or white (your choice). Made of ceramic, it features a lift-up lid and has a cute little wooden spoon attached. Measures 2.5"H. An exact mini replica of the real thing! Cost: $4.50.

Copper Cookware Set This set of 8 copper pieces includes a mug, covered pot, frying pan, watering can, wok, slotted spoon, kettle, and colander. Measuring between 1 3/4 - 4.5"H, the pieces are made of heavyweight copper with brass handles. Cost: $19.99/set or $2.99 each piece.

How about some clothespins? Of course, our fashion dolls don't have to do their own laundry, but, when traveling, these might come in handy in hotel rooms for quick lingerie rinses. Actual working mini clothespins are wood, just like the real things. Can also be used by you to hold down fabrics when sewing/designing your creations! Come in two sizes: 1"H (50 in a pack for $3) or 2"H (10 for $2) and in your choice of natural or colored:

Depression Glass Tableware - This type of glass was produced in the USA during the Depression years of the 1920's and 1930's. Generally it was made by machine in a range of colors and a vast amount of it was tableware and kitchen-ware. Made from the mid-20's into the '40s, the Depression glass was popular and affordable. The dime store, where the thrifty homemaker could find everything from toiletries to household goods, proved to be a common source for this inexpensive purchase. Depression glass also made its way into American homes through the issuance of premiums. Sellers or manufacturers would offer a free gift with the purchase of a certain dollar amount of goods or a specific product. Colorful glass dinnerware was sold in sets ($1.89-$1.98) or by the piece for less than 5 cents each! Much of the glass was given away by merchants to customers using their services or buying their products. Thus, punch bowl sets were given away with an oil change, cake plates with the purchase of flour, bowls and dishes with the purchase of tea or oatmeal. "Dish Night" at the movies was also popular. Families found it possible to collect whole sets of dishes by spending their nickels in the right places. When hard times ended, glass reminders of this era were discarded, stored, or given to the children for play dishes. Here, we have an assortment of elegant covered dishes for your fashion dolls to present at the table in perfect scale! These are handmade and come in two sizes: 2.5"h x 3.5"w x 3.5"d or 3.5"h x 4.5"w x 4.5"d. They come in two styles each, in either blue or pink. Small: $3.99. Large: $4.99. Also available are covered dishes with charming farm animals on the dome, such as ducks and cows; very popular in the 40's and 50's - and perfect for your doll's holiday decorating! Color choices are blue in the cow (2 remaining) or pink for the duck (only 1 left); measurements are 2.5"w; your choice of cover. Cost: $2.99

Charming thermos is reminiscent of the old days - very nostalgic! Actually made of metal (lid is not removable). Three designs available as pictured. Measures approx. 2.5"H. Cost: $2.50 each.

Get ready to entertain with this cool new martiniware! Measuring about 2"H and made of silverplate, these pieces have a nice weighty feel to them, just like the goblets, below. Cost: $4 each or two for $7. See photos of goblets for an idea of scale of the martiniware with 16" dolls...

For more formal entertaining, silverplated or cream ceramic buckets are also available in a plain, yet sleek, design with round knob handles, measuring 2.5"H for $6. (Many thanks again to fellow club member Deborah P. for permission to use photo w/Gene below.)

For informal occasions, choose this 2"H resin piece with a "silver" bucket and champagne bottle and "ice". Originally a place card holder modified for doll use! Cost: $4.

If you prefer something modern, try these fun acrylic wine buckets. Actually bottle stoppers (that have been modified!), they are hand decorated with little ice cubes and mini wine bottles. Choose a single bottle-style w/knob handles, a 3-bottle round bucket, or a single-bottle style w/elongated rim that acts as handles. Measure about 2.5"h. Cost: $8.

Wine Goblets - You'll need glassware for that wine or champagne! These gorgeous and weighty 2" silver goblets have stems decorated w/raised leafing and grapes motif. There are two slits on each side of the goblet (actually placecard holders!). $7/pair or $4 each.

Crystal Champagne Flute/Martini Glass and Pitcher Set

Your Cissy and large BJDs will be the toast of the town with these elegant pieces. Made by Gorham of lead crystal, the pieces are authentic repros in miniature (approx. 2"H each), beautifully boxed in red velveteen and tassled. Set: $10 (originally $7.99 each!).

Wine Racks/Crates - every elegant dinner table needs an elegant wine display. Two types are availabe, side serving with three bottles or upright with two. Measure 3"w x 1.25"d x 5"H. Cost: $5 each. For an earthy display, this crate of six bottles has a nice aged look. Made of wood and resin and meas. 3"L x 2"H x 2"D. Cost: $7 each.

Wine and Cheese Trays are perfect for both impromptu and planned evenings. Two trays available, cheese with one glass or grapes and cheese with two glasses. Made of glass and metal and meas. 4.5"w x 2 1.4"D x 5.5"h. Wonderful detail! Cost: $6 each.

Wine/liqueur bottles will be needed for serving. Wine selections are of California fine wines... Measure about 2"H. Cost: $2.50 each.

For a little less, champagne bottles are available. These are plastic and are open/hollow on the bottom, but still nicely detailed. Cost: $1.50 each. Also, a few pink frosted ice buckets are on hand, $2, as well as traditional champagne glasses, tumblers and shakers, $1 each. If you'd like a set, we can put one together consisting of a pair of glasses w/champagne bottle or a shaker w/tumblers, for $3. Note: Very limited!

Or, if you prefer, complete sets are available of either wine or liqueur. Each comes with a pink rack for display, which you can customize by sponge painting a different color and placing on top of your doll's dining room sideboard! Cost: $8/set. Please specify wine or liqueur set. Note: Now very limited!

This charming 3-tiered petite dessert server tray is made of metal and features a cut-out design, twisted wire, embossing and dry-brushing. Measures 3.5"h x 4 1/4"w x 2 1/4"d. Comes in your choice of gold, red (perfect for the holidays!), ivory, rose, or sage. Cost: $4 each. Petit-Fours (actually tiny sugar cubes!) are available with the server, one for each tier tray, now while supplies last, as a gift!

Aprons & "Vests"

This wonderful assortment of cooking attire is perfect for your doll's entertaining! Choose from aprons or "vests" (that are actually tied in the back as aprons). Aprons include berries, patriotic, spring, Easter, St. Patrick's, harvest/Thanksgiving and cost $3.50.

Vests are actually wine bottle covers doubling as aprons which have been modified to fit around the doll's neck (with a snap). Some include extra pieces, such as a top hat, cowboy hat, or cane/walking stick (though these pieces are more scaled for 11" dolls). Some have a sash across the front proclaiming the festivity. Choices include beach/luau (comes with lei, too!), chef (w/a chef's hat), bolero, cowboy/rodeo/girl/wild west (w/cowboy hat), executive, patriotic/Uncle Sam, champagne, congratulations, fiesta, flamingo, mask, nautical, various party/celebration, top hat, birthday, sports, and holiday themes such as New year's, Christmas, Valentine's, Mardi Gras, July 4th, Halloween, Thanksgiving, and, of course, Christmas. Great for bar scenes, and for male dolls, these will look great under a sportsjacket or blazer! Cocktails, anyone? Add a shot of fun to your dolls' drinks with these festive acrylic cocktails (taken from swizzle sticks!). Choices include (will do best w/requests): Bloody Mary (1 remaining), Rum & Coke (1 remaining), Margarita, Martini, Gin & Tonic (1 remaining), and Tequila Sunrise. Measure approx. 1.5"H. Cost: $2.50 each. Extremely limited quantities. Also available are colorfully "frosted" glass cocktails of Planter's Punch, Tequila, Zombie, and even a slushey concoction (for any of you bartenders or swingers out there, please correct us if we've got some of the drinks wrong)! Slightly larger at 2"H, they are perfect for male dolls or larger (though the 2" ones work well with 16" dolls, too!). Cost: $3.50 each. Note: Very few remaining! Also available for larger dolls 18" + and BJDs. Cost: $3 each.

Your doll will need this cart for food or nursery shopping, of course! Measures approx. 5"Lx 3"W x 7"H and is 3"D. Wonderful steel repro of the real thing with accurate detais, down to the working wheels! Cost: $8.
